Non-radial intensity variation correction on full-disk images

Abstract
For ground-based observatories, non-radial intensity variations are mainly due to clouds. They can cover solar features or events and hence limit their detection. We present a method to remove the clouds from full-disk images. We illustrate the method on white-light images where the correction allows a better detection of sunspots.
