To prevent their disappearance, a "European research project":http://i-treasures.eu - in Thessaloniki in Greece - is establishing a digital database, fully dedicated to intangible cultural treasures of humanity. Intangible heritage Monuments, buildings, statues. They're not the only cultural assets.
